Spring Break Issues

Sooo...found some places for spring break in South Carolina. Only problem is that most of them I need someone who is 25+ to get the key(no clue WHY its 25). So question: anyone wanna come with me to Spring break who is 25+ (or know someone)? It would be $100 total for driving there and paying for the condo/house (there is gonna be like 14 other people) and whatever money you want to bring for fun. And everyone is at least 18-21 and international(France, Korea, Malaysia, Russian American ect).
If you havent seen this, PLEASE do:

...and this is PART 2:

EDIT: I must really be in a DBZ mood tonight. I found this right after the Hitler ones. This clip(made by the French) is EXACTLY how the live action Dragonball SHOULD be based off of. It reminds me exactly of the cartoon, and I can only imagine how it would look if the video made by someone with a real budget, and real actors:

Random college adventures

Well the boys of our floor(Eythan and Woo Jeong) are going with our other dorm-mate Garrett to his brother Matt's place in E-Town to party all weekend. Cj is leaving for home in Ocean City. Soon and Hae Gong are in New York visiting their father in New York(hes visiting from S.Korea). Basically this weekend = girls night out all weekend. It'll be kinda boring, hopefully something will be going on.

On other news, I saw this gorgeous Asian guy on my way to math class. He was basically jogging to his class to make it on time (as I should have been doing). Is it odd that I wanted to somehow trip or run into him so I could introduce myself or get his name? Of course I didn't, but while at dinner I saw him again but we were leaving while he was getting food. Hopefully I'll run into him again and maybe get his name(hes just so innocently cute! I wanna corrupt him...kinda like my Chinese friend Yohan).

Got a lot of reading to do (not school related). Not really worried about finals, I dont have them till the 3rd week of December, so I got time to relax (Im such a slacker).

I should be sending out the Christmas cards this weekend, hopefully I dont forget.

Another Hetalia post...

So is it kinda weird that Hetalia has made me go from like very little love for my country to having like MAJOR love for my country? America aka Alfred is like my favorite character, and he is so stereotypically American (minus the fatness) its amazing!

Rain Rain Go Away...

If you want me to send you an awsome Christmas card (I bought South Park ones this year) let me know (comments are screened).

Stole this meme from fireblooms :
Step One

- Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Pam/Jim icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friends friends, or just random journals, or holiday_wishes) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

All I want for Christmas is yoooouuuu!Collapse )

pick 10 people and give them the "you make my day/year" award in no particular order. If you're picked, you are charged with picking 10 of your own (unless you've already done it).

Death Note...seriously Mitsuru?!?

Just as the subject says. My dorm-mate Mitsuru got me into Death Note. Im on episode 27, just started Tuesday...should be done either tonight or tomorrow. Light is my favorite character. L is cool and all, but I dont want Light to be caught, but I know he will... :(

He made fun of me because I was previously watching Coffee Prince (Korean drama), and it took him like 4 days to sit me down and had to force me to watch Death Note. Its not like I hated the idea, its just that its so popular, and I havent watched an anime in about year, and was trying to get out of the whole anime fandom since katsucon. Now he sucked me right back in...hes laughing about it right now (Japanese asshole). Now I dont think Im gonna run off and watch all the anime I can get my hands on like I used to when I was younger, but after Death Note he wants me to watch Ghost in the Shell with him, since he hasnt seen it and is gonna buy it sometime this weekend or next.

I should probably do English homework now, but Im so close to finishing Death Note, like 9 or 10 episodes left...AHHHHHH!!!

Skipped two classes today, 6 total this semester in 4 weeks. I really need to start going to class. I have a sociology test next Thursday, had a math test today, have a Chinese quiz tomorrow (ill totally get another 100% as always).

Im in love

...With the Chinese language. Ive never been so in love and passionate about a class ever. I practice it for hours each day, and always try learning more from Yohann and all the other Chinese exchange students. They all say my pronunciation is good (since its a tonal language) and hopefully I keep that up. The characters are coming slightly easy to me now, but at first it was hard. I cant even describe how much fun I'm having into words.

Mitsuru and I have a bet though: If I get less then an A by the end of the semester, I have to stop Chinese and take Japanese so I can go for a year to Tokyo and live with him while I go to his college, but if I get an A, to keep up with Chinese. Both sound tempting, but even when I started learning little phrases here and there in Japanese, I was never really good. With Chinese so far, Ive gotten A's on all my tests. One of my new hobbies is speaking Chinese to either Mitsuru, Jiyoon, or Sora(dorm-mates/classmates) and to Yohann, and Riben.
